Feedlot
From the first feed to the last head, captured in the pen.
A feedlot runs on lots, pens and recipes
Every client's cattle go into a lot, every lot sits in a pen, and every pen is fed to a recipe. When those records live on paper, the cost of a lot is a guess and a withdrawal period is a memory.
The Feedlot module follows each lot from the day it starts to the day it closes, captured by the people in the pens and visible to the office straight away.
What the Feedlot module covers
Everything the pens, the feed shed and the office need to agree on the same numbers.
Recipe-based feeding
Pick the pen, the recipe and the kilograms fed. The amount is split across the recipe's ingredients and costed automatically.
Lots and pens
Start lots in empty pens, transfer a whole lot or just some of the head, and close a lot when the animals have left.
Treatments and withdrawal periods
Record each drug, dose and batch number against the lot, with the medicine's withdrawal period shown at the time.
Mortalities with photos
Log how many head were lost and the cause, with up to five photos taken on the spot as proof.
Stock and reconciliations
Ingredient stock follows purchases and feeding. Physical counts are submitted for an admin to approve before stock is adjusted.
Cost by client
See feed and standing-fee cost by client and date range, built from the records captured in the pens.
